BIO

James McDonald was raised in the town of Liberty, MO just outside of Kansas City. James would realize later in life that he had always been a performer. As a child, he would constantly put on magic shows, puppet shows and a variety of other exhibitions for the amusement of his friends and family.

It was not until James was fifteen that he really understood his calling. The fall of his sophomore year in high school, a very lovely girl named Alana asked him to audition for the Music Man with her. James, experiencing a massive crush, readily agreed and soon found himself on stage for the first time. He's been obsessed with performing ever since.

James attended college in Austin, TX at ST. Edward's University, where he obtained a BFA in 1997. By the time he left Austin in 1998, he had over 50 productions under his belt, as well as several experiences in directing. By 1999, he was ready for Los Angeles. He has continued to hone his skills as an actor, director and writer and is constantly busy. He is currently working on a few screenplays and completed Tempus Fugit last year, which he produced and starred in.
