BIO

Sarah Pettycrew is a natural redhead who grew up in Saginaw, Michigan and describes her childhood as "painfully shy". But upon deciding to become an actress, she blossomed like a flower.

After graduating high school, she moved to Florida and attended the Florida State University. While in college she was a huge "Seminole" fan and graduated in four years with a BA in Theatre. From there she moved to Orlando, Florida because she had hopes of being the "Little Mermaid" on the floats at Walt Disney World. However, a different path was in store for this green eyed girl.

She was tired of waiting for Orlando to become the next Hollywood and decided if the business wasn't going to come to her, she would go to the business. Without hesitating, she headed for the hills of Hollywood. Since she has landed in LA, she has been continuously studying her craft and is currently a member of the Michael Savage Ensemble. She is also a proud founding member and Treasurer of the Creative Actors Alliance, as well as, the creator of the scriptwriting competition, The C.A.S.T. Project.

Pettycrew has had supporting roles in the independent features, Lich, Black Hole, Killer.com, and All's Well That Ends Well. She was also cast in the Z-Ville Productions of Blues Man, Lotto and The Chair. In 2003, she portrayed "Jenny" at Hollywood's Tamarind Theatre in the production of American Prometheus and was last seen on stage at the Mark Taper Auditorium where she portrayed the "School Psychologist" in Thrill of Art.

Pettycrew was very excited to be a part of the Fox Searchlight short film, Day Shift, in which she portrayed "Janet" the maid and she most recently performed as a Ballroom Dancer in the upcoming Kate Hudson film, The Skeleton Key!
