BIO
Zander Villayne grew up in Minnesota. Falling in love with music early, he played in bands for years before he opened a recording studio in Minneapolis, which ran for six years. While working extensively with the theater scene in his hometown, Zander developed a love for acting.
Zander has been working in the entertainment industry for 20 years. Today he is known for being an Actor, Musician, Writer, Director, Producer, Editor, Audio-Engineer and owner of Z-Ville Productions. He has been in films that have appeared on HBO and the Networks and has been fortunate enough to have had a few featured spots on television shows. He has also been in many Independent films and is involved with three films at this time. Zander has just enjoyed the success of his first feature film debut as a DP with the release of Peace Of Heart, a film by Roman Wyden.
On the music front he has been working on a new album with his band HD Loudertrain. He is the lead singer, guitarist and principle songwriter in this band. He has written over 75 songs and has had a song in almost every movie he has worked on. He has also been cast in a music video and two other films in the last 3 months.
In addition to being a founding Board Member of the Creative Actors Alliance, Zander teaches Developmentally Disabled Adults the entertainment business at Performing Arts Studio West. He has been sober for 15 years, though not in the program, this plays a large part in his life. He often times will go out and speak to school and troubled teens on addiction, and the entertainment business.
